I need more info on John Mead and John H. Mead before I can give an answer. Are you sure you are not confusing Hartford CT with Harford Co. MD? I have not come across an Elkanah Mead in Harford Co. (I may be wrong) The only Meads connection I have found to Ohio so far is the DeMoss/Meads connection told to me by the query linked to mine. I have found PA and VA connections, but that's all the other states I have found besides MD. There may be Meads I don't know of yet who went to Ohio from MD. Please give me more info. Mike Wilson
