The Meads and DeMoss families intermarried over a few generations. From my research, I believe Hannah Meads got pregnant by a man named Aquila Thompson, and they had an illegitimate daughter, Ruth, who married and died here in Harford Co., MD. Later, when Ruth was still a child, Hannah married John DeMoss, and he adopted Ruth. I did not know John died in Ohio, and I do not know if Hannah was there with him. Mike Wilson
