Hi Donna:
Nothing in your data looked familiar to me, sorry. As general speculation, however, it's probably safe to assume that many of the early Md Meads are descendants of Francis Mead. Francis had identified sons:
1. William 1681-1735(no further info)
2. Benjamin 1686-1764 who had known sons:
1. William 1710
2. Benjamin 1727-1774
3. John 1694
1. Samuel 1731
I believe, without proof, that the Samuel 1731 is my Samuel.
I have identified all the Meads on the census in AA and Calvert except the following:
Benjamin Meads (AA, 1810) b. bef. 1765
Edward Meeds (1810, Calvert) b. bef. 1765
William Mead (1850, Calvert) age 31
Dorsey Mead (1830, AA) b. 1780-1790
The Benjamin, b. bef. 1765, was perhaps related to my Meads as he lived next door to my ancestor, Uriah, for at least 20 years.
I would love to see a more complete listing of the descendants of Francis Mead. That would no doubt clear up a lost of mysteries.
Good Luck,
Al
