Name seems to have changed many times each generation. My great great grandfather was John B. Meads who married Jane Ashcrauft (Ashcroft) (she was born in Butler County, Ohio November 29, 1821) and they were married
July 08, 1845 in Daviess County Indiana. Their children were Elmer E., William S., Mary Madora, Darius E., Laura Allen, Ida and Martha. Elmer E. was my great grandfather, he married Mary Ella Critchlow on February 17, 1884 also in Daviess County.

SEARCHING for any infomation, especially for John B. Meads. His siblings may have been Mary Jane Mead(s),
Thomas Mead(s), Martha Ann Mead(s), William C Mead(s), and Rebecca Ann Mead(s) who were all married in Daviess County around 1835-1850.
