Thanks for your suggestion, others have suggested the same. I have also found Radnage in Bucks.

I have a copy of the original entry from the 1891 census and the enumerator has definately written "Radshire, Bucks", cross checking his handwriting with other entries on the same page varifies this. I have tried to imagine how a geordie enumerator would interpret a "strange" Bucks accent and hear it as Radshire, but have come up with nothing. I await the 1901 census with anticipation, hopefully it will clarify the 1891 entry.
