To John Brass.
re your message, I am currently doing the Meads family tree and the following may be of interest:
Sarah Meads of Oxford is correct in suggesting Radclive, a small village adjacent to Gawcott near Buckingham, the home of my grandparents and so on.
You might be interested in that we have a William Meads B.1832, and married Sarah Warr in 1853. Their second son was Thomas, born Radclive, living with his mother along with two of his children, Rose and William. (1881 census). His younger brother George was my grandfather.
I have more if you are interested. It looks as though we may be second cousins!
Hope hear from you.
Pam and Bill Foddy
