Thanks Hubert, My Great Grandfather was Micajah Meadows Born 1812 and Died in 1872 in Mississippi. He is Buried in the Family cemetery In Greene co. Ms. Family History has it that Micajah had two sets of kids- wife # 1 dies and he married my grandmother -Mary Jane Hamm. My grandfather Haywood Allen Meadows was born in the second set of kids in 855 and died in 1928 _buried in Greene co. Ms. family cemetery. I found the following (you may know this)in the 1790 census of Georgia under Medors: Enoch-Page 151, John- Page 151,Micajah- Page 151, Richard- Page 150, Thomas- Page 151 I found a Micajah in the 1850 Census in Henry Co. Alabama but I don't think this is not my G-Grandfather. I Think I found My Micajah in Holmes Co. Florida (Just across the Alabama line) in the 1850 Census. I know that we are all related but not sure who My Micajah's Father was? Thomas, John, Enoch, Or Micajah or the grandson of one of them. My Micajah had a son named Ambrose. I feel certain that Richard was my GGGgrandfather or GGGGgrandfather. You would think that Micajah was a rare name but their appears to be plenty of 'em around to confuse the issue.I found them in Tn, Al., Ky. Ga. & Texas. Do you have anything that would indicate the children of Thomas, Micajah or Enoch? You Cousin, Sherman Notify Administrator about this message?
