I haven't been able to locate much info on him and would like any info that you may have on the children of John. I found a deed recorded in Winston Co. S.C.(the name was changed to Barnwell Co in 1797) were John and Enoch sold 200 acres to John Peeks. They inherited the property from their father- Richard- in a Georgia Will. The land was located on the Great Kiokee Creek and based on a grant from King George. The Kiokee Creek is a branch of the Savannah River in Columbia Co. Ga. In one of the transactions, It mentions that he is selling his portion of the land that his father is buried on. This may Muddy the waters instead of help you. Let me know what you have.
