I see many postings on Worldconnect for the Meadors family with lots of great information. Obviously someone at some point in time did a lot of research and shared it generously. Thanks to whoever that person was.
However, there is one thing I had a question on - all these submissions show that Dinah Meadors, dau of John and #1 wife Mary Awbrey was born abt. 1696 in Essex Co., VA and died abt 1741 in Tennessee!! I'm thinking that's a little early for someone to be in Tennessee, especially since her children all sitting in VA at the time. My TN history shows the first white people entered the land now known as Tennessee about 1769.
I'm interested in George B. Tribble & Dianah Meadors daughter Dinah Tribble who m. John S. Dyer, Jr. and then their son Manoah Dyer who died in Tennessee abt. 1832.
