According to Boddie, "Historical Southern Families," v. IV., p. 131, Pacific Coast Publishers, 1960, John Meadors " . . . is evidently the immigrant ancestor of the family." Although Boddie mentions a Thomas Meadors and a Thomas Meador in the same article, nothing is written herein about the ancestors of John Meadors Sr. (born abt. 1637), who married Elizabeth White, daughter of Richard White.

How can I document the ancestors of this John Meadors Sr. with some degree of accuracy?
