By any chance do you know anything about Francis HIX?
I also have HIX surname.
I have a William DURHAM who married Mary "Polly" HIX in 1798
Bedford Co, Va. And there son Phillips Hix DURHAM ended up in Breckinridge Co, KY 1840 - 1906.
