My primary Meador documentation problem is the Isham/Eli Meador father/son relationship.
A son of Isham Meador (b 20 March 1762 in Bedford County Virginia, d 2 March 1840 in Smith County Tennessee) and Bitty (Obedience Bradshaw) Meador was Eli Meador (b 1787, d 1847 in Allen County, Kentucky). He married Sarah Turner.
Eli’s son Nathaniel moved to south west Missouri. Nathaniel married Katherine Perdue (b 15 April 1820, d 27 November 1857). One of their children was George Henry Meador (b 1 September 1838, d 8 February 1867) George married Lucy Boothe (b 4 February 1845, d 28 December 1911). One of their children was Joanna Meador (b 3 December 1867, d 6 April 1949). She married Alfred Henbest (b 17 May 1862, d 4 August 1940). They moved to Fayetteville Arkansas in 1919. One of their children was Lucille Henbest (b 21 February 1906, d 22 February 1996). Lucille was my mother.
Do you have any good source documents for the Isham - Eli relationship?
I’ll be glad to share all the Meador data I have and I have been able to join the SAR via Eli to Isham.
