Susan -

I am descended from John Lampard b. abt. 1771, christened Bishopstone by Salisbury, Wiltshire 28 Jun 1771. John Lampard married Mary Toomer and died on 29 Jul 1828. I believe John is the son of Robert Lampard and Mary Mead, married 20 Oct 1770 in Bishopstone by Salisbury. Think he had at least two other siblings - James and Sarah.

I would seem like I'm referring to the same Robert Ford Lampard and Mary Mead that you mention in your post. These would be my 5xgreat grandparents. Would love to message more with you and find out what you know about the family. You can e-mail me at niamhaine at hotmail dot com.
