General: There is a Henry Meade in the 1810 Russell County, VA Personal Property Tax list. In 1815, Henry Meade owned a 140 acre farm on Copper Creek His house was 1 1/2 stories, built of wood, 20 feet by 18 feet. He also had two stables, one corn house, and one loom house. His property was valued at $400.
Misc event (6 Oct 1812): Henry Meade and William and Elizabeth Carpenter made a deed for 140 acres of land on Copper Creek.
