I have a death certificate for Sarah Meade Scott, age 60, born Clay Co, KY, died April 3, 1947, Estill Co, KY; she's a widow at the time of death, her deceased spouse was Charley Scott; her father was JAMES MEADE, born: KY (they say, doesn't mean it's correct), her mother is unknown, the informant was C R Thompson, Booneville, KY; she was buried at Owsley Co, 4/5/47; she died of gangrene of the intestines & peritonitis; file #8061 (that's what it looks like, but it's darker than the rest of the page and there may be another number or these numbers may be incorrect...now, I do these Vital Statistics for the Estill Co Historical & Genealogical Society to put in book form at no cost for my labor...I love doing this and I love the learning experience I get from doing them...I despise leaving blank spaces if I can reach out and do a little research to cover those blanks...I need to know who her mother was to fill in the missing information about this lady...can anybody help me help someone else?
