Thanks for the hints.. yes I do have access to Heritage Quest. and I found some other books that I might try... I am trying to prove/disprove a story that has been floating around the family for years.. saying we were related to Gen George Gordon Meade.... a great uncle some how... family members even named gordon and meade. I have a feeling that the Mead I am looking for is a Theodore if the family used the general practice of naming... first son after father's father, then mother's father...
But no proof... I keep looking since my uncle is sure that its true.
