Hi Eileen:

Do you have access to Heritage Quest on the internet through your library?? If you do, you can access Spencer Mead's book on the MEAD family. There is also an index to his book via Heritage Quest, also. I have seen in his book where there were some MEADs that lived in NYC.

My Mead family did not live in NYC, but were in Connecticut and then Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam, and Delaware Co., NY. So I haven't concentrated on the MEADs in NYC.

Let me know if you have access to Heritage Quest.
