Francis mead of Burlington, Bradford Co., PA

Francis Mead was the father of 11 children according to old family notes I have. One of his youngest sons was Charles Allen Mead who married Mary Barnes. They left Burlington and went to Williamsport, PA. Eventually they went to DuBois where Charles Mead died.

Francis Mead died on January 26, 1868 close to 100 years old. I believe many of the Meads in Burlington Twp., Bradford County, PA 1850 census were his children. His wife's first name started with an H. according to 1850 census. It may have been Helen since Charles named his first daughter Julia Helen. Our records say she was Scottish.

Does anyone have any information on this Francis Mead? He was at Horseheads, Chemung Co., NY before coming to Pennsylvania.
