I do not have any information on the father or siblings of my Jotham Mead (1796 NY-1847 IL) so I cannot connect your Sophia as being his sister or that your Jotham is his father
I have been working on the Meads for quite some time and have hit a brick wall with Jotham.
Have heard that my Jotham came from Scotland, but on the 1880 McHenry Co IL census his son Marcus states that his father Johtham was born in NY. I have found that there are errors in the census so the NY birthplace may be in error.
Where was your Jotham born?
