The Cato Mead who fought in the Revolutionary war, and received a pension, was listed as 73 years old when he applied for his pension in 1818 (Sept. 18th) in Licking Co., Ohio. This equates to having been born in CT circa 1745. Obviously, this information is different than the person born in 1746. It is probable that the Cato born in 1746 did also fight in the war, but I wasn't able to find the records in the pensioners list for the war. Also obvious, there must have been two individuals with that name coming from CT, probably related.
