I am researching Ira S. McKeen, born in Maine about 1835. I believe he migrated to Illinois where he served in the Civil War and where his son, Almiron, was born. He married Sarah Hathorne who may have been from Ohio. There is an Ira S. McKeen listed in the 1880 census of Scandia, Republic Co., Kansas, but I'm not sure if this is the Ira I'm looking for.
