I am trying to trace the family of Mabel Estella McKeen born in New Brunswick around 1878. She married William Thomas Murchie in 1900. A 1881 Census shows a Mabel McKeen with sister Edith McKeen and mother Mary Jane McKeen and father John McKeen. John was German and Mary Jane was Scottish aged 30 and 27 respectively. But I noted in the 1901 census, Mabel and Tom Murchie were living as boarders with a John McKeen, Jennie McKeen and their daughter Edith. Does anyone know if there is a relationship and more information about Mabel McKeen's parents. I have found a website that traces the McKeen's and includes Mabel but they are Irish and not German.
Mabel is the mother of Georgia Estella Murchie.
