I descend from James McKeen (wife Margaret Alexander) through their daughter Hannah who married Oliver Whiting.

I have seen published genealogies naming the above children, but I do not know what source was used when proving the above children to their parents, James and Margaret (Alexander) McKeen.
Does anyone know what source documentation was used for proving these children to the above parents?
Does anyone know when/where James McKeen and Margaret Alexander were married?
Also seek ancestors of Margaret Alexander.
