I am trying to find the parents of Oliver P. McPherson born 7/24/1838 in Penn. died 7/16/1885 in Georgetown, Beaver Co., Penn. He is buried in the old Georgetown Cemetery along with his wife Barbara A. Family history says her name was Barbara Ann Roschell (spelling not certain). They were married before 1866 and had the following children: Sophia married Lewis Lyon; Virginia M. married Edward McKeen; Laura Belle married Robert Poe; Lucy married Thea Pippin; Katherine married John McElravey, Luke and Manning. This information is from family members. Could he be the Perry McPherson, son of Nathan and Emily on the 1850 Beaver Co., census at age 12. He is the right age. Since I can't find him anywhere else I am thinking this is right. Has anyone done any research on Perry McPherson? Any help will be appreciated. Faye Smith
