Hi everyone,

After much searching I have found (via his death record) that my ancestor Henry Arthur McKean was born in Dublin, Ireland circa 1841. He emigrated to New Zealand in approx 1878-79 and married Lydia Mary Diddams, and was mentioned he was a widower at the time. I am not sure whether he came to New Zealand directly from Ireland or who his previous wife was, or what parish he was born into in Dublin.

Any information or suggestions as to where I could find his baptism/birth information or if you recognise the name at all, would be most appreciated. I have a family tree of nearly 5000 people so if you are stuck on a particular name I am more than happy to see if they are in my tree!
