I am looking for information about my grandmother Mabel Anna McKean (may be Anna Mabel) born in Picto Co. Nova Scotia in 1882. Her mother's name may have been Janet. She had siblings Christine, Sarah, Elizabeth(Bessie), Cassie, and Willard. There were other children who did not reach adulthood. She was born outside of the town of Pictou in a place called Meadowville, I beleive. She went to Rhode Island in her late teens and married John Manning McQuarrie of New Brunswick. They later lived in Maine where she died in 1955. Thank you.
