Unfortunately I don't think your McKean's are the same as mine. None of your names ring any bells in my research, but I will keep them tagged as Joanna may be related to my Great Great Grandfather Henry Arthur McKean..... I have managed to find his son Clinton Irving McKean arrived in New Zealand in 1884 aged 1 year old, so if I can find out where he sailed from, it may give me a hint as to where Henry may have come from....
