Looking for information on a John McKane who may have been
born in the Philadelphia area between 1870-1880. Believe
he was college educated. He had a dispute with his birth
family and left them as a young man. He subsequently used
the name Kane and raised a family in West Chester, Pa. However, he never shared information about his birth
family. He walked with a limp, and died of a stroke in
in 1941.
Would appreciate any information about his early life and his birth family.
