Looking for the ancestors of Alonzo [Lon] McKain born in Ohio 17 May 1849 Died 30 Dec. 1935 in Flora, Illinois. Married Josie May Kurtz [nee Ellis] in Illinois and had 9 children. Have been told the spelling was changed to McKain either by Alonzo's father or grandfather, I need to know who his parents, siblings, possible other wives etc. were to work on this side of my family tree. Any info will be greatly appreciated!!
