I have found Mayle and Dalton names in the Tabler lines that I have been working on.
Isaac Tabler married Margret Mary Norris in 1866, Athens county Ohio. Aunt Paul, as she was called, was the daughter of Ezra Mayle and Sarah Norris. I have pencil notes that she may have been a slave or servant of George Custis of Spotsylvania County, VA. Could there be Native American in there? Family stories say that there was, somewhere. Can you shed some light?
