MAYES ancestors' DNA
Posted by: Joseph Barron Chandler (ID *****9822) Date: March 20, 2006 at 13:42:29

Test results in the MAY DNA project may be on the verge of establishing the baseline DNA of descendants of HENRY MAYS/MAYES II through his son SHERROD, who has many USA descendants.

Selena Mayes DuLac, Tracy Knauss and Joseph B. Chandler, Jr. have joined as co-administators of the MAY DNA Project, which includes MAYS, MAYES and several other variants.

Men with MAY, MAYS, MAYES, MEASE and other variant surnames in unbroken lines are urged to take the DNA test -- preferably the 25-marker test ($169.00 + $2) because it can almost always tell to which family a testee belongs and can often help validate major branches and sub-groups within families.

For more information, go to <www.ftdna.com> and enter any of the surnames in the SEARCH BOX on the FTDNA homepage.
