In the census her name is spelled Morgason. There were a half dozen ways of spelling the name. Rebecca's father had apparently died and her mother Elizabeth Morgason remarried a man named Michael Lewis. Within just a couple of years, Elizabeth was dead and Michael Lewis married again.
My great grandfather, Marcus Linzy Taylor met and married Rebecca E. Margison, Morgison, Margason, in Bartholowmew Co., IN. Who was Rebecca's father?
