My GGGGGrandfather was Peter Markison from Ulster County, NY married to Catryntie Roosa b.1762. They were married 19June1785 at the Katsbaan and Saugerties Reformed Church, Ulster County, New York. Peter was from New York City, birth date unknown. I believe he may have been a son of Peter Margeson and Catherine Carstang, since there appear to be no other candidates who fit the time frame and location. Peter was the ancestor of all the Margison’s who followed in Greene and Sullivan County, NY. They had 6 children: Caty b.1786, Benjamin b.1789, Rachel b.1791, Martin b.1794, Maria b. 1797, and Elisabeth b. 1804. Any help would be appreciated
