Hi Milton

I believe Frances father John 1844/45 Newton was my wifes great uncle and the brother of her great grandfather Charles Margison b)1850 Newton. Ive had great difficulty tracing my wifes root as the various censuses have Margison under different spellings but Ive managed to trace them back to the 1700s.
What part of the world are you from and are you a member of genesreunited, where I have our tree.
