Martha Malone md. Patrick Love 5 December 1831 in Limestone Co., Alabama.

Cornelius Malone was one of the early SC settlers in what was once termed Samuel Wyly's settlers of Pine Hill, SC who came to SC quite by accident-the settlers were supposed to be sailing from Timahoe, Ireland to the lands of Sir Arthur Dobbs in Cape Fear, NC, when they became lost at sea and landed by captain's error in Charleston, and got early land grants (Charleston SC records) in Camden Dist., later Kershaw Dist., SC. Cornelius Malone apparently had sons Cornelius Jr., William and Solomon Malone. If Martha is a d/o of Cornelius she is most likely a d/o Cornelius Jr. born 1759 in Kershaw Co., SC who moved first to Madison Co., Ala., then to Limestone Co., Alabama and when he died, In Morgan Co., Alabama.

Cornelius Jr.'s wife was named Drucilla...maiden name not known for sure. Cornelius, Jr. was a RS so apparently a lineage exists for him, through the DAR and he is a documentioned RS pensioner from the northern district of Alabama. Check through DAR records for a genealogy on him.

also check genealogy of Bill Clinton whose line intersects the line of Alsey Malone who I believe married a Spradley....but don't quote me. Alsey Malone thought to be a daughter in law of Cornelius, Sr. through one of his sons.
