Hi, Tyrone,

Most of us at the reunion this weekend were descendants of Oliver Lee Magby, my Great Grandfather. He had 10 children of which my grandfather was the oldest. His name was Lee Magby--died in 1930 of a gunshot wound. His son, Nimory, a twin, was my father. He died in 1992. He and his wife, Sarah, had 9 children (living) of which I am one. All of the others are living in LaGrange, Atlanta, or College Park, Georgia.

This Magby klan came originally for Alabama and Georgia. Roanoke, Standing Rock, Chambers County, Randolph County, Troup County, are the main locations.

I am 50 years old, a school administrator, living and working in Flint, Michigan.

I have a great uncle- Albert Freeman- who lives in Saint Albans, New York. He has a wealth of information regarding our family. I plan to visit him this summer. send me your address and we'll try to "hook up" when I get there.

I have a lot of information about the reunion that we can share; you should really see the souvenir booklet created by Tommy Brown, who lives in Charlotte, NC. This one is even better than the one two years ago. All of the descendants of Oliver Magby are entered in the book; the whole family tree.

I am in the process of researching Oliver's father who is listed as HARRY MAGBY on Oliver's death certificate.

Gotta run. We have to be related somehow! How? I don't know yet.
