I am looking for additional information about Agnes Mackie and his father, Alexander Mackie (1775-1859). They came from Aberdeen, and probably went to Inverness or Ross and Cromarty.
Agnes MacKie was married with Colin Elder (Isle of Skye). (m. 1827). Colin Elder was my gggg-father. (Colin Elder/George/ Arthur Sidney/Arthur Cecil/ I.Elder). John Elder (Colinīs father)and Sir George Elder were brothers, born in Killearnan - Ross and Cromarty.
Children of Alexander Mackie: John, Agnes, Robert, Elizabeth, Charlote, Alexander, Benjamin and Alexia.
As I could find out, Agnes and Colin were second couisins, because of, Alexander married Elizabeth Stuart (fathers: James Stuart and Elizabeth Elder).
