The Mackie families were in Harrison County, Virginia (now WV) around 1800 +/- years. I know that Margaret (Mackie) Neel eventually settled in Vermilion County, Illinois after her husband died.

I would especially like to know where the family lived before arriving in Harrison County - and I would like to know the maiden name of the wife, Jane, of John Mackie, sr.

(3) John Mackie Jr. m. Mary Plummer on 26 September 1803
(4) Ann Mackie m. William Randolph on 29 Dec 1803
(5) Mary Mackie m. Stephen Bailey on 12 Oct 1807
