I'm searching for a lead to Capt. Litzinger who headed up a company of Virginia Foot Volunteers out of Newburg, Preston Co,in what is now WV, 1861. The unit later became Co.D 6th Reg of the WV Cavalry, Union Army, Civil War. Any clues?
