Thanks for posting the skinny on your Litz line, and also for the great personal memories. My great grandmother was Sallie Ann Litz who married Richard Harvey McGuire in Tazewell VA. I have memories of my "Uncle Litz" who was really my great uncle Litz McGuire who moved to Logan, WV in the 1920's and was later mayor there. He was a large and jovial personality, and may have taken after his mother Sallie Ann - not sure if he had the Litz Leg though.
I would be interested in your family data, and I of course will share what I have.
