I am studying Huntington's Disease genealogy in southern West Virginia, southwestern Virginia, northwestern North Carolina, northeastern Kentucky, and northeastern Tennessee. I have identified a few families who seem to have been carriers, and have tried to link other families to these few, without much success. I have not come across the Lett surname in my research, but have found plenty of HD in West Virginia, and I am glad to share with other researcher/cousins.

My feeling is that HD is a more prevalent disease than has been given credit to.
