Hi Karen,

I just saw your note. My Lett family was very close to yours. They settled in Jackson and Jennings county Indiana starting about 1813 or so.

Before that, they were in Harrison, Pendleton, and Owen county area of KY.

Before they moved to Kentucky, they were living in the WIlkes county, Georgia area.

If you look up message number 792, you'll find the outline of the life of my second great-grandfather, John H Lett. Message number 1805 has a lot of additional information on my line.

Some relatives of John H Lett lived in the Covington KY area in the early 1900s. My grandmother lived in Cincinatti as a teen.

Can you tell us more about your family? Perhaps something we know will be helpful to you.
