This all kind of makes sense but I do not understand the Loyd connection between Sarah Ellen MacLeamore and this Hancock, except that Sarah Ellen gave birth to my Grandfather Edgar. The information on Edgar makes sense because he was born, we thought 1894, in McLean, Cahoun County, Kentucky. He had a brother James and he married a Dora Belle Fry and had two sons, Edgar Walter Loyd and Charles James Loyd in Terre Haute, Indiana. I am just stumped on where the Loyd connection came from????

Again, many thanks and if you can make heads or tails out of this mystery I would appreciate your thoughts.

Ed
