Hello!! I think this Julia was my ggrandmother! She married William Burns March 9,1864,in LaSalle Co.,Illinois.They had four children:John A.,Elias A.,Mary Belle,and Irwin Edward.Elias A. was Elias Adelbert,my grandpa Del. Family lived in Illinois,then Iowa,then Mercer Co.,Mo. and finally in Benton Co.,Mo. Julia died there,in Warsaw,in June,1886.William died about a decade later.
I THINK William was a s/o James Burns and first wife,Elizabeth Knight.(James later married Peach Peyton.)William's birthdate would have been something like 1825,probably in VA.
I would like to find the names of Julia's siblings.If I'm right,Julia's dad was John Warden,who died in 1845,in Licking Co.,Ohio,leaving widow Martha Kelly with seven children to raise and she had to place the children with family and friends.I believe Julia was placed with the Samuel and Jane Grove family who lived in Licking County,Ohio,for the 1850 census,and moved along with Julia,their servant,to LaSalle Co.,Illinois,for the 1860 census.
I don't know how to go about discovering more about Martha Kelly,or the other children.
