They migrated to Licking Co.,Ohio,where John Died in 1845,leaving his widow Martha with seven children to raise.I think she had no choice but to farm out the kids,and I believe my ggrandmother Julia was one of the younger of the children farmed out.Lots of info to share.Thank you.
