Amazed to find this message board. Go to http://www.infokey.com/cgi-bin/baseall to see nobility information concerning Kujawa. Don't order anything, you can search around and obtain the crest and coat of arms free at other locations. Kujawa is an ancient indigineous surname predating Polish settlment in a certain area of Poland (Kujawy I think). Search rootsweb for messageboard with topic of "Radom". There, Kujawa research is being discussed. I will refer all to this messageboard who are researching this surname. My association with Kujawa is at my web site http://www.wildak.net/~grandpa and there is a Lawrence Kujawa located in mid 1860's in Duncan Nebraska. Also know there are Kujawa's in Radom Illinois area as well as Natrona Pennsylvania.

To all: I research only my ancestoral surname LASEK in Poland and the US to some extent. Everytime I find a Lasek aka Lassek, I find a Kujawa. The Kujawa and the Lasek Families have ties from centuries ago. Does anyone have any associated information on LASEK ?? Please email direct with questions and possible information on LASEK.
