This is from hand-written notes from my Aunt Stella, Joseph's daughter:"Agnes Trzeciak married Joseph Kujawa in Germany, gave birth to a son, Vincent (Bill). Came to America 1889, landed in Baltimore, Md. They travelled on a cattle steamer. Within a year, they settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. Joseph Kujawa was injured by a falling steel beam at the factory. He became discouraged of the working conditions and moved to Gaylord, Michigan around 1890. He bought 40 acres of timber land and built a log cabin with his brother, Jacob. Two daughters, Francis and Victoria were born in Pittsburgh. Francis died of dysentery in Pittsburgh at the age of two years. Victoria passed away in Gaylord at the age of seven (black diptheria). Children born in Gaylord: John, Rose, Stella, Frank, Laura, Martha, Clara and Angeline."
My cousins notes say that Joseph was an orphan, so I have no listing of his parents names.
