Hi everyone! I'm looking for relatives whose last name is Kovacs. My grandfather's family are from Hungary. I think his mom (Maria Kovacs) and her sister (Morgic - i'm sure the spelling is wrong) and brother Albert were born in Bagamer, Hungary. My great grandmother (Maria) moved to Belarus (one of the former USSR countries) around 1930th where my grandfather was born. I know his uncle Albert had 5 children: Jozsef (born in 1933), Janos and Sona (?) - they both moved to Canada in late 50th, Maria and Julia. Jozsef had a wife Emma and one son Jozsi. I only know their address where they lived in Budapest when my grandparents and later my parents visited them. It's 1077. Budapest. Wesselenyi u. 15-1. After my grandfather's cousin dies we have lost all contacts with them. Unfortunately, we don't know the address of those two cousins in Canada but I would love to find them or their children. My granfather was planning on visiting them but it was in early 70th and of course soviet government said "No".
If anyone came across this family's history or know how I can find them knowing just the old address in Budapest please let me know. It would be the best gift for my grandfather he had ever received in his life.
