Hi, hope you are still looking for Kiser information. I have your Samuel, with his family. The father was John F. Kiser b. 18 Sep 1847 probably in Ohio, married Mary Jane Auten May 1868 in Sullivan Co. Indiana, then moved to Nebraska after 1873 with many other Autens and Kisers and Halls.
They had 8 children, an infant who died, Lila P., Mary E., Jessie M., William John, James Melvin, Samuel H. and Evie
Of these, I have families for Jesse M. - who had 8 children (one was Harvey Miller Kiser whoes family I would love to contact) and the other is James Melvin - who had 2 daughters.
My connection is that Mary Jane Auten was my great, great aunt and we'd love to get back into contact with any Kisers who may have information stretching back to the pre-Nebraska days.
