In the collection of pictures kept by my grandparents is a picture of a very pretty young child (baby). The picture was taken by McDonald Studio in South Bend, Indiana. On the back of the picture was written, "Sarah Alice Kiser, 5 mos. 20 days". My sister, who has my grandparents' collection of pictures, would love to find someone for whom the picture would be meaningful. We believe the picture may have been taken in the late 1800's or early 1900's.
My grandfather was born in Ohio. He worked, for a time in Wells County, Indiana. He married my grandmother in Marshall County, Iowa. They lived, for a time, in Edna, Kansas, but relocated in Arkansas prior to 1910.
